How a job in Tadworth usually runs
The steps are the same for a single light or a garden office.
Tell Alex what is happening. A message and a photo of the problem, the fuse board or the spot where you want something fitted is usually enough to start.
A price before the work. Alex explains what the job involves and gives you a quote before it goes ahead.
Tested before he leaves. The work is tested once it is done, and where the job needs a certificate, you receive it.
What to expect explains each step in more detail.
Garden offices and outbuildings
Two of the Tadworth reviews are for garden offices. One needed electrics and internet run out to it, with help fitting a heater. The other covered a garden office and garage: a metal consumer unit, LED strip lighting around the room and five double sockets, all surface mounted.
Where the cable runs, how far it goes, what you want to run in the building and whether the fuse box has room for another circuit decide what is involved. The garden power page explains how it is planned.

A garden office and garage
“Alex from AJS Electrical Services recently completed electrical work for my garden office and garage, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The work included: installing a metal consumer unit, LED strip lighting with aluminium profiles around the room perimeter, five double socket outlets and switch all neatly surface mounted. Alex was professional, punctual, and extremely thorough. He ensured everything was installed safely, neatly, and to a very high standard. I would highly recommend Alex and AJS Electrical Services to anyone needing reliable, high-quality electrical work.”

A lighting fault
“Alex was amazing. He came round and within 10 minutes of me explaining the problem and testing my light he knew how to fix part of the problem immediately. He then investigated the last night found the problem and fixed it all within about 40 minutes of arriving. He was happy to explain what happened and why. He was friendly and polite. He was very helpful and I would recommend him to others if you are having any electrical problems or looking for electrical work to be carried out. I now have working lights again..”

A repeat customer
“Alex is my go to for any electrical work that I need doing. He has removed electrical supply to my garden, fitted spot lights, fitted standard ceiling lighting, fitted an en suite extractor fan and most recently fitted hallway and upstairs landing spot lights. Work is always completed to a very high standard and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.”
